Regulars pair almond croissants with a steady flat white or batch brew before heading upstairs to the air-conditioned rooms or settling in the back garden. Trays routinely empty out before midday, leaving the wooden racks clean by lunch.

We went for the sausage rolls and were very impressed. We recommend getting the house made tomato relish as a side! We tried the pork/apple/fennel and classic beef and both were so good.
