Inside a converted suburban Queenslander on Miskin Street, this bakehouse draws morning crowds for limited morning batches baked straight from scratch. The focus stays entirely on the oven—pork, apple, and fennel sausage rolls with house tomato relish, layered danishes with distinct shatter, and naturally fermented sourdough loaves. Regulars pair almond croissants with a steady flat white or batch brew before heading upstairs to the air-conditioned rooms or settling in the back garden. Trays routinely empty out before midday, leaving the wooden racks clean by lunch.
