Tarte Bakery & Cafe turns the Burleigh strip into an essential morning stop, turning out golden viennoiserie, loaded bagels, and well-pulled espresso. The almond croissants arrive dense and crumbly in the right spots, while the flaky ham and cheese croissant melts cheese and chives through every layer. Savory eaters split avocado and tomato bagels or dig into a beef and cheese pie with serious crust. Those on the run bypass seated brunch queues via a dedicated takeaway window with its own espresso machine, while anyone with time to spare claims an outdoor seat under the veranda to finish a triple chocolate cookie in the morning sun.
