About Wallaby Hotel

Tucked off the main road in Mudgeeraba, this Gold Coast heritage pub delivers cold schooners, live bands, and generous country-style hospitality. Regulars swear by the kitchen when the dining room fills up—sending out plates of charred ribs, fresh barramundi, and tender beef tacos without missing a beat. Out front, the historic bar buzzes with tribute acts, rockabilly sets, and monthly blues jams. Out back, clean guest rooms offer an easy place to crash once the amps power down.

  • Standout Pub Fare: Serves hearty pub staples including fresh barramundi, beef tacos, and ribs with fast service even during peak rushes.
  • Live Bands & Jam Sessions: Hosts regular touring tribute shows, weekend bands, and monthly blues jam sessions.
