Perched on the Nerang River, this sun-drenched Gold Coast deck pairs sweeping water views with towering coastal feasts. Locals secure waterfront tables right before golden hour—trading city hustle for salty air and cold Pavilion Punch. The acoustics stay lively, especially as groups unpack the colossal Surf & Turf platter piled with battered barramundi, Singapore chilli mussels, and skewers. Regulars also swear by the tempura wakame oysters laced with wasabi mayo while watching boats glide past the pontoon.

    For our main, we ordered the Surf & Turf platter… and it was spectacular! It included beef tenderloin skewers, Cumberland sausage, lamb kofta skewers, chargrilled prawns, beer battered barramundi fillets, Singapore chilli mussels, calamari, chicken skewers, dipping sauces, thick cut chips and garden salad — an absolute feast.
