Can we book a hotel balcony overlooking the Gold Coast motor race?

We would like to watch some of the street event from our room and need to know what to verify before paying.

If the view is the main reason for the stay, compare the premium with an official event ticket. A trackside room may still miss the section of racing you most want to see.
