When is public transport better than a Gold Coast tourist shuttle?

My three-day plan links parks, Surfers Paradise, outlet shopping and Currumbin, and an older shuttle pass appears dearer than the public routes I calculated.

    Price the itinerary again using current official fares and timetables; the pass prices in old forum posts will be outdated. Include transfer time, not just money.
