Is a one-hour-forty-minute Gold Coast flight connection safe with checked bags?

If the tickets are separate, ask about a later flight or overnight rather than assuming the airline will rebook a missed connection.

Allow for arrival, baggage, check-in and border control; the flight time alone leaves little protection.

Check the second airline's current bag-drop cutoff and the terminal transfer before relying on the scheduled gap.
